On Saturday, July 17, the city of Nashville formally dedicated Rep. John Lewis Way with a celebration that included a march down the newly named street, a dedication event on Broadway, and a celebration of Lewis’ life at the historic Ryman Auditorium. The historic occasion was appropriately commererated by a long list of dignitaries, including Members of the Lewis Family, Former Vice President Al Gore, Rev. James Lawson, John Meacham, and performances by Darius Rucker, Rodney Crowell, and the McCrary sisters paid fitting tribute to John Lewis and more than a dozen of his fellow Freedom Riders.
There are a small number of the limited edition Hatch Show Prints commemorating the event that remain. This is your opportunity to own a piece of history.
Included with your $40 purchase is a copy of the program and insert from the Ryman Dedication. All proceeds benefit the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
