This amazing washed process single-origin coffee comes to us from our Colombia partner Forest Coffee. The coffee is from their community project in Tolima-Gaitania and is produced by more than 40 coffee growers from this micro region. The coffee is then processed separately and dried by the brothers Emanuel and Valentino, at their farm La Roma, who have been working with Forest Coffee for years.
The brothers have been working with coffee from their own farm and with all their neighbors, by gathering the coffees after fermentation and developing a sun drying system to dry the coffee to a perfect moisture level before export.
Because of partners like 8th & Roast and many others, they are now working on building a new wet mill facility to process more unique coffees at their farm, Finca La Roma!
